Summer is finally here!!
A nice day temperature wise finally!
High of only 62, but felt much warmer!! I had to go to store after work. Then home, looked at my weeds and started yanking. First time this summer that I was home and felt like doing something outside. It felt great! Supposed to be nice all weekend. Fingers crossed. It has been a horrible spring so far. I have a huge list to do at home, gonna have to work it in.. friend is having a cookout Sunday, then to the flea market Monday. Oh and going out for dinner tomorrow night with friends. Looks to me like Saturday I am (should be) busy around the house. Inside and out. Keep your fingers crossed for me that I can accomplish 1/10 of what I want to get done! Been a long winter.. I looked out my patio door earlier.. saw my neighbor down the road walking his dog, or should I say his dog was walking him.. and he was also holding? a cat that was draped across his neck hanging down from his shoulder.. enjoying the ride. I should have grabbed my camera. Hope everyone enjoys the upcoming Memorial Day weekend. |

Don't forget to relax Shada. I got up this morning to a light drizzle and it's suppose to be this way most of the day. I was going to clean out my bus and get it back to school, but I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow.
I'm anxious to get some things done outside too, but haven't yet. I need to make a list...LOL

Memorial Day weekend is the beginning of summer. It's going to be in the 70's here.

I would like to do that too. Just not able to do all the digging and bending right now. Next year will be better or maybe I will plant some fall bulbs that will come up in the spring.

I was headed for the beach today. I figured today would be less crowded than tomorrow, so I p-u-l-l-e-d myself away from the computer and left for the beach.
About 10 minutes into the ride, I realized that I had forgotten my wallet. You have to pay for parking at the beach, so I went back home, and here I sit, happily on my computer again. I never forget things, and I firmly believe that evreything happens for a reason. The beach wasn't meant to be today! I really have to get out of NY. It's a gorgeous day, but there is nothing I want to do here. I don't even like the public beach - it's too crowded.

Judy, you should take a train to somewhere else. Can't you take a train to Baltimore or somewhere??? I'd love to go visit the Inner Harbor area on a beautiful day like today.

We've warmed up to 86 today and we're very humid! Ugh! We had to turn on the airconditioner because it was really uncomfortable. I hate that but oh well!
I've spent a lot of this week out in my flower beds dividing and planting stuff. I've decided to make a hosta garden on a shady side of my flower beds. Nothing seems to want to grow very well there except hostas so I'm just planting the whole thing to hostas!! I hope that it looks nice when I finally get done. I wish that I knew how to landscape. Our area around the house needs landscaping so bad. I'm just not very good at it either. PLUS, some of these plants are really expensive and if I kill the poor things, then I'm out a plant and the money....LOL.
