I can't stop crying!
I don't know if you guys saw this or not, but Joan from YT lost her little Crystal. She was 14 years old and it was her birthday and I know how much Joan loved that little girl. I was devastated when I read it and I couldn't stop crying. I called my mom and told her and she probably thought I was nuts for crying over a yorkie I'd never met. Then Brendon called and I cried again when I told him about it. Joan is just an amazing sweet person and I can't imagine the pain she must be feeling. If you want to leave her a comment, you can do so here. Or you can light a candle here.

I heard about this early this morning and my heart just broke. All weekend and yesterday I was leaving birthday greetings for her and she had already passed. I still can't beleive it and I feel so helpless for Joan.

Don't feel crazy for crying. I also belong to another pet website - after hearing about the other dogs day after day, you become attached and do feel a sense of loss when one of them crosses the rainbow bridge.

I just looked at Crystal's picture. She was a very pretty little girl. I am so sorry this happened.

Unfortunately, that's the downside to loving pets... they don't live nearly long enough.

Angie, Megan and Joan (Crystalsmom) are very close. Megan talked to her on the phone a few minutes ago. We are devestated for her and Megan was crying too! Joan is doing pretty good. She is so grateful to have had Crystal for 14 years. She is alone and I know she'll be lonely without her. I have been saying a special prayer for her. You are NOT crazy, what you are is a sweet, sensitive woman who feels other people's pain.

Coming back to this thread brought tears to my eyes again. I haven't left Joan a message yet because I just can't find the words. Nothing I say could express how sad I am for her and nothing I say could make her pain go away. I keep going back to her thread on YT and I'll get to the "reply" page but I just can't form the right words.
Joan has been so sweet to my Marty and Madeline. Crystal was a lucky little girl to have such a great mommy. I wish I could give her a big hug...

Angie, so sorry that this has happened to your friend. You are a compassionate young woman, it's not unusual to feel sorrow. If you can't find the words, simply tell her you love her and include a hug smilie. She will understand and apprecite your gesture.
