I'm still out working on my yard. I've got a few more things to do and hopefully it will all be done before it starts getting really hot. I've been on a little when I've come inside for a drink or a rest.

Reuger's in at the vet's office for teeth cleaning. I've got to go and get him in a little while. I gave him a bath last night and brushed him out. He was so cute because he didn't want me to stop brushing once I had the tangles out.

We've got bad storms later this afternoon and evening. I hate it when you have to worry about every little storm!!!

It's sticky and gray here today, but I've been busy with buyers picking up pups, finished worming all the pups and gave the older litter their final shots. So far 4 (half the litter) has gone to their new homes in the past 2 days.

I also had to run to town this morning for a few things, so this is the first chance I've really had to sit down. I'm pooped! lol

Janet, we're all entitled to have those times. I plan to do as little as possible myself tonight.

I know...I needed it I think. I've been a little angry the last day or so. I'm better now, but I was letting things get to me...you know, politics, gas prices, husband, wishing I had more energy!! The list goes on...LOL. I get that way sometimes, but it goes away as quickly as it comes on.

I've spent just about the whole day driving my kids all over. I take them to school at 7:30, pick up Megan at 1:30 and drop her off at the performing arts high school. Then I pick Kevin up at 2:30 and Megan at 3:30. Since it's Thursday I take Megan to her voice lesson (and I dropped Kevin off at his friend's house on the way). After voice, I dropped Megan back off at the school because they have a show tonight. I came home to let the dog out and I'm back there to see the show at 7. Then I'll pick Kevin up at his friends on the way home. I spend my entire life driving around in big circles!

I've been working in my yard trying to pull up weeds. It's not easy with the temp in the 90's and 100 % humidity! My husband just finished my other 2 banty houses. I ordered them (15 bantums - little chickens- very friendly) a few days ago. Bob is having shoulder surgery tomorrow and will be in rehab for awhile so wanted to finish that and the donkey fence before Fri. The donkey (Maria) arrives next week. She is pregnant. What I know about donkeys would not make a paragraph. I'm the one who wanted her but I think he enjoys all the animals too. I also bought 20 guinea fowl (keets) a few days ago and they are all still alive. They are very cute when little but not so cute when they grow up. Anyway, have been to busy to get on the Internet. Also, when I picked up my Yorkies on Sun. (we were on vacation) they hadn't been groomed but the bill included the grooming! I was not thrilled because Lucy's face was very yucky. So I had to make another trip in to take and pick them up after grooming. Bob bought a digital scale so I weighed Monkey (Yorkie). He weighs 2 lbs. 14 oz and will be 2 next month. Any chance he'll gain any more weight? I give him treats every day. I don't have that problem with Lucy. She loves food!! Sorry for so much info at once but don't have time to type that often.
I hope everything is well with ya'll.

WOW, everyone is so busy... I thought my last couple days were bad with Micah being sick from his shots, working, and trying to get a couple things done outside while the baby is sleeping.. it's been crazy, trying to get my yard back to normal after pulling out all the ugly bushes that were there when i bought the house. I'm waitng now for my dad to bring over his tiller, that will save me so much time. then i'm going to get some small trees so i can hang more bird house up... just what i need more birds around the house, but i love watching them at night, it's relaxing to me...

Still alive in Baltimore! I am glad it sounds like everyone is making the best of the beautiful weather

I've been planning and grabbing some things here and there for the wedding, lots of birthdays this month plus fathers day coming up... swimming, gardening and of course my all time fav bargain hunting LOL
Fingers crossed that I win this vintage 1940's black lace garter belt in a few moments for under 15 dollars!

Oh, it's not my wedding, it's daughters. I've had my guy for almost 35 years now, and just about have him trained.

Sorry you aren't happy. Sure hope my daughter's turns out well. He's a good Christian, and they are very much in love, so hopefully with lots of prayers all will be well. It's never perfect, life just has trials along the way, but hopefully they will remain strong. We've taught her a lot about communication, and I know the lessons aren't over, and probably never will be. I just have to learn to be a good listener and not try to solve all her problems for her. She's a big girl now!!

Pope, hope you won your auction!! Will a 1940's black lace garter belt still hold up? I'd be afraid it had deteriorated by this time. Sounds like you are busy having fun!!

I'm in New Hampshire for the weekend - unfortunately I have a nasty cold, so instead of hiking I'm crashed on the couch watching movies.
