Just dropped Brendon off at the airport...
I just got back from the airport where I dropped Brendon off. He's going to Charleston for the weekend to see our dear friend Eli. I'm going to miss him like crazy, but I know he'll have a great time in Charleston having some "guy time". This is his trip special trip since I went to Charleston for girl time. These puppies are definitely going to have to keep me company cause my house sure feels lonely right now...

Angie came to Chicago with Dae Lynn and I not to Charleston!!! She's had a mind burp!!!!
I hope that Brendan has as much fun as we had!!! Too bad you're not closer so you could spend the weekend here!!! However, it would be a really good time to go and spend some time with your Mom!! Or find a girlfriend and go to the movies!!!

Brendon was sick last week and I was sick this week, so we've been staying away from Mom so she doesn't get sick on top of going back to work and starting radiation treatments. That would just be too much to handle. I *think* I'm alright to see her now, but I want to give it a few more days just to be sure. (I'm still coughing quite a bit.)
Tomorrow I'll be hanging out with my friends Sarah and Ryan. We're going to play some Mario Party on their game cube. It's lots of fun with a group of people and Sarah and Ryan are great to hang out with--but I'll still miss my Brendon!

By the way, I wouldn't trade my trip to Chicago for anything! I had a blast and got to meet some really amazing people.

ahhh you and Brendon are so cute together! I'm sure he'll miss you too. How are the M's when one of you leaves? Do they act all crazy? Kenny says Tucker is down right obnoxious when I go away even for the evening. He's just used to being with me 24/7. He even goes for car rides when I'm not stopping somewhere!

Awww! You'll need a lot of chocolate. I say double stuffed oreos to begin with.
He'll be back soon, but I know you'll miss him! We're here for you.

You're so right Gina. I have loved being alone for the week and being able to accomplish a few things, but by Thursday evening, I was starting to get that lonely feeling. The boys should be home by 1 or 1:30 and I can't wait to see my baby boy.

I love having my husband home but I really enjoy it when he's gone for a couple of days and I'm home alone. I really feel like I can do what I want. I don't have to clean or cook. My idea of a vacation is for everyone to be gone for a few days, have a good book to read, and have a Pepsi (not diet) and a big bag of sunflower seeds in the shell!!! Ah......that's one of my most favorite things in the whole wide world!!! But I can't do the sunflower seeds now because of the salt. Bummer!!!! I'm always ready for my family to come back after a few days.
Angie, like the old saying says "Absence makes the heart grow fonder!!!" I think that being apart makes you realize how much you love a person. I bet that Brendan is in for one big homecoming!!!! Awwww, to young and newly weds again. Sigh!!!

Awww, Angie, hope you are enjoying your weekend!!! I agree with Judy, this calls for chocolate, or cheesecake!!! He'll be home before you know it!!

Unfortunately, my brother decided to be mean so when he was standing in front of me he looked out the window (behind me) and said, "Oh, is that Brendon?" I got so excited for a split second and even turned around to see if it was him...then remembered that he was gone. My heart sank. My brother thinks he's clever--and it worked! lol I spent the evening shopping with Mom and bought the cutest little dress to wear for our anniversary next week. It's kind of a tradition that I buy a new dress for anniversary so I did even though I felt awful for splurging. We're on a tight budget for the summer, but at least it was on sale and only $20--and really cute! Then we went back to Mom's house to have sweets and chat. My brother and I danced around like dorks to funny old songs like the Macarena and Land Down Under, then I went to Sarah and Ryan's where I had banana split and played their Game Cube. My friends and family really take care me when I'm sad or lonely! I guess I'm pretty blessed even when Bren's away. He played paintball today and some Call of Duty. (That's their favorite game, but I sure wouldn't be playing it if I was at the beach!) The boys are having a great time together, but I can't wait to have my hubby back on Monday. Tomorrow I'm working a long shift--one of the girls I'm with is on vacation so me and the other girl in the lab are working extra this week. I go in at 11 and get off at 9:30. At least I'll be busy and won't be thinking about missing Brendon as much.
