OK Girls....here they are!!
Of course they aren't done professionally but, I don't they they look too bad! Lillie wasn't a happy girl when I started to clip at her. I had to stop a couple of times...she was starting to pant so I gave her a break for about 15 mins. I had to cut some of her hair on her legs with scissors....she was getting a little anxious and I didn't want to stress her out anymore than I already was.....Well...that wasn't enough! Then I gave her a bath and cut her nails!! I surprised she still comes to me! LOL....I gave Sadie a bath...Sadie is my black and gold girl. She has a very coarse coat that doesn't grow long...maybe half way past her belly...no matter what I wash her and condition her with seems to help so I thought...WHY NOT SADIE TOO!! So back on the counter and I clipped Sadie! I was on a roll!! LOL...I am sending along pics of them...I can never get good pics of them together but, you can see the job I did....

They turned out really pretty good!!! I always figured when I did mine that the good news was that the hair would always grow back out if I made a mistake!!! I never ever cut my doll's hair when I was little and I found out that I was really missing out when I started grooming Reuger!!!! Next time you'll find that you'll feel a lot more confident!!! Good going!!!!

I think they look great! I KNOW they look 100 times better than if I groomed my boys (they go to the groomers). See, it wasn't bad at all and next time it will be even easier. Both my boys have that whispy silvery coat that mats so easily. They sometimes mat on their legs and I keep them just a little longer.

By the way Brenda, in the picutures, I love the crocheted table cover!!! The chairs (what I can see of them) are beautiful too.

Brenda, you did a really nice job. You can really tell the difference in the texture of their coats can't you? My Gidget has a bit of a courser hair than the others, but not bad. The more you do it...the easier it gets and the faster you get so it doesn't bother the dogs as much. Congratulations!!!

it may be the same, but it enlarges more so that you can see Trickie's beautiful face. Donna, she is just gorgeous! I love her coat!!!

Good job Brenda! They came out great, and they are so beautiful. I put
biosilk (for humans) on their coats to give it shine and keep the ends down nicely.Donna - Tricksie is such a beauty.I had Annie and Max groomed this week. I wanted a puppy cut for Annie. I figured it would be her last puppy cut since she's 10 months old already . Wendy, my groomer gave her a long hair cut instead. She looks beautiful, but I wanted my puppy for a while. She spent two hours on her. Wendy is so gentle that she really goes slowly, especially with little ones like Annie. She didn't want to do her ears because Annie had had enough. When I came home, I also got brave, and picked up the scissors. I trimmed her ears and it came out fine.
