Love the floor's, can't wait to see pic's with everything all moved in. You must be so excited.
I would love to move to house, we bought our's brand new but it is a modular and some things were done so cheap like trim and door's, i would like a new house with real wood.

Gayle...I love it. I would so love to have wood flooring. I love your countertop and tile. I know you're dreading the work of moving, but wow...you're going to have it looking beautiful all furnished.

Gayle, I love it all! I know you said you thought the tile was too dark, but I think it's perfect. It looks similar to what I'd like in our hot tub room. Right now it's off-white and reminds me of a hospital... and definitely doesn't fit with the hardwood leading into it. Your hardwood and tile work well together!

Everything looks so nice.......I know that you're excited!!! I love the hardwood floor and would love to do that in my living room......then I'd just have carpet in the bedrooms. The tile looks like a great color!! I can't wait to see it with all of your furniture in and all decorated!!!

The wood floors and the walls are just beautiful Gayle! I love the kitchen too. The house looks like it is spotless clean, which is so great to move into.
This is very exciting!

Very nice, Gayle!!! Love your wood floors. We have new carpet in the living room, about a month old, and I know it won't be new very long. I wanted wood, but the carpet was some a client bought and didn't use, so all we had to pay for was installation. I so want hardwood in the bedroom. The carpet in there needs to be changed so badly.
Your formica looks nice with the tile. Your formica looks a lot like our granite in our kitchen. I'm sure your are getting anxious to get moved and in your new home!!

Thanks Marilyn! At first I didn't like that formica, but it is growing on me and I think I'll have it put on the rest of the counter tops (it's only on the island and desk right now). The other counter tops desperately need to be replaced. We've spent so much money on everything else, that I just don't want to do granite and would be happy with the formica. Everyone that comes into the house seems to like it and notes that it looks a lot like granite.

Nothing wrong with formica, Gayle. I told Rex the next home we build, I want to keep it simple to keep the taxes down, and if we need to put in formica counter tops, that's okay with me. I dearly love the granite, it has sooo many practical advantages plus the look is so nice, but I would rather spend money on travel and other more important things than granite and taxes.

I have the same thing on my countertops Gayle. The color may be just a smidge lighter, and I love it! Yours is so pretty!

You know Betsi, I remember your posting a pic of your kitchen and I thought the countertops were similar. When you posted that pic of your kitchen, I remember thinking that I wished I had dark countertops! LOL! Funny how things work out.
