Scuba Diving....

Glen's taking scuba lessons with a friend in a nearby town. He only has to have a few lessons to be certified. I'm hoping that he just loves it......and I really think that he will.....and we'll get to do some traveling!! The water around here is really muddy and you can't see in it at all. You can go to Tablerock lake and dive there but it's still not the clearest. Maybe we'll get to go to some islands or something!!!! I've got my fingers and toes crossed because I'd love to do something like that!!!! Whoo hooo........Does anyone here scuba dive? I'd love to but I don't think that I'm really in shape to do it.

Wow! Good for Glen! Maybe he will want to go on a cruise where he can scuba dive, and you can sit on a lounge chair and read!

That's really cool! Gary used to be certified and he loved it. He couldn't do it any more though because of his heart. I have a couple of girl friends who do it and love it. Me - I wouldn't want to, I think I'd have trouble with my ears. I prefer to snorkle.

I would really love to but, like I said, I don't think my health is in good enough shape for it. I've always wanted to though.

Judy, I am hoping for a cruise too....but I picture myself snorkeling or swimming......just not the scuba diving!!! I love the water!!

I've snorkle before but never scuba dive. Honestly I'm too scare to do it. But I would love to do some sky diving

That is awesome Diana! I hope you get to do lots and lots of traveling! You love the beach so there ya go....Glen can scuba dive while you bask on the beach!

gary wants to skydive too, but can't due to his health. Me....I'll stay right here on the ground, thank you very much.

Rick use to have his pilots license and we use to fly all over the place just to eat breakfast..lol. Anyway...couldn't afford it any longer after Ricky was born and his license expired.

We all use to hang out at the airport and mingle with the skydivers there. There was a joke that we all would tell them and that was..."why in the world would you want to jump out of a perfectly good flying airplane?"....lolol

Another time we came home and the wind was blowing terribly and it was hard to get the plane landed on the runway. We did make it and one of the skydivers got back at us and told us..."We would have jumped"....lol.

Scuba diving always looks so beautiful on TV with all of the pretty corals and colorful fish. I loved to swim as a child but only in a pool, i wanted to know what was in the water below me.

Glen told me to get his birth certificate because a scuba diving group is going to Mexico and I can go too. It's not exactly the place I would chose to go right now. Glen's thinking that we may do some traveling possibly.......we'll see how much he gets into this!! I just hope he thinks about scuba diving on a cruise!!!! I could really go for that!!!!!


My daughter, Dae Lynn, went sky diving......and loved it!! She went in tandem with another man......that way she didn't have to take classes......she just went and jumped!!! She would love to go back!!

That would be so much fun! I wanted to scuba dive in Mazatlan but the equipment looked pretty old and sketchy There's a pool here in the city that does scuba diving lessons, and I know my brother's class came to the city for it in high school, but my class never did. I think it was part of Phys. Ed. for them.

I could never skydive either!! I used to be way more adventurous than I am now and I always thought I wanted to do it, but not now. There are a few companies around here that do skydiving all summer and I know lots of people who have done it, but I'd rather stay on the ground, or in the plane lol! One thing I'd really like to do is go in a hot-air balloon I've told Scott about it, and he said he did that for his ex and it was really expensive, so it looks like he won't do it for me

Janet, that is so neat that you used to fly so often! A friend of mine has her pilot's license too, and she was telling me how cool it was that I had a motorcycle license But she can fly a plane!! That's WAY cooler! Lol!
