Oh thank you Gayle, that is great to know. I can't wait to put them to use

Chocolate mint will grow, but spearmint grows the best. I never tasted apple mint. It sounds good!

We had temps in the low 30's a couple of mornings ago, so I'm still not replanting my mint, or putting out my plants.

Thank you Gayle, I am so excited. I hope my bell keeps growing, it's so small right now. My red bell pepper tree died a few weeks ago. I was so sad.

Judy, I was just thinking maybe my boys are eating my chocolate mints and that's why it's slowly getting smaller. Would you happen to have recipes for mint?

Jessica, your chickens probably won't start laying eggs until the end of the summer. That's what ours did last summer. It takes a while for them to get mature enough. I don't know how old they have to be.

We got some more chickens the other day......50 of them!! Glen has promised that he'll keep them in the chicken coop this year......after they destroyed my yard last year. We have one chicken and one duck left out of all of those we had last year!!! It's funny because they pal around together!!

Fifty chickens Diana Wowser

There is no way I can fit 50 in my tiny backyard. I'm hoping that in five yrs I can relocate out of the city with more space and away from neighbors. I did read somewhere that they can start laying eggs as soon as 7 months and as late as 1 1/2 yrs. I read on the breeds I got and supposedly there good layers. I guess will see.
