Awwwww, Janet, if I lived close by, we'd have gone out for a really special birthday lunch!!! You have an awesome evening & be extra happy in spite of them. You deserve a very, very special day!!!!!

By the way, aren't we the same age now??? Until May that is.

I wish you all lived closer...we could go out and have a great time.

Well, my birthday came and gone without much fanfare. My Mom didn't call, my older brother didn't call. I just said to heck with it all and went to bed around 8:30 PM. I always feel that as soon as I can get to sleep, the sooner a bad day will get over with.

I'm sorry your Mom, and brother didnt call you for your special day Janet, i can imagine that must be disappointing.
I laughed reading Tink's post, on how she bought her own pressie, i swear if my BD gets forgotten, or treated like just another day by my family, i will buy my own. Had visuals of myself walking thru the hallway with a yorkie pup, with a red bow, singing HB to myself LOL

That's hilarious!!! LOL!

Janet, I agree with everyone else. If you weren't given your "special day" by your family, you should do something special for yourself instead. Maybe a day at the spa??

Janet, don't worry. I ALWAYS buy myself my own present. Otherwise, it's up in the air what i would get or if I would even get anything. Us women just have to take care of ourselves sometimes.
