Seven guinea pigs, a tree frog, a Boston terrier and we're not sure if the two Madagascar hissing cockroaches were still alive at that time. Of course, if you want to count the ants in the ant farm a few years earlier as pets....

Now that's a great idea, counting the fish! That could put my list through the roof. Who knew elephants liked to watch those tiny tetras as they circle the castle in the middle of the tank? No wonder they are always showing up at the National Aquarium in Baltimore!

Ever since hearing Bill Engvals bit on "Dorkfish" that's what I think of every time someone talks about fish. If you haven't seen it, you really need to. Obviously it makes a lasting impression. ROFLMBO

The video here is really poor quality, but it's still insanely funny.

When I was about 12 or 13 I had a dog and two "sister" gerbils. Well, one morning I woke up to the two "sisters" and 9 baby gerbils! So that was 11 pets in all

We had those pesky little sister gerbils, too! One of them was just cross-dressing! Who knew gerbils could be so clever? lol
