Now, you are serious, aren't you Betsi - butter sugar sandwiches!!! OH MY! I don't know why I am saying this though, I was raised on cinnamon toast - which is toast that you put butter on while it is hot, then you sprinkle sugar on the melted butter, then cinnamon. I can assure you, if not for cinnamon toast, I would not have survived. I could fix it for myself and I DID - FREQUENTLY!!! LOL! I never considered my cinnamon toast, butter sugar bread - BUT IT WAS!!!

If you put butter on the bread, sprinkle it with sugar and cinnamon, THEN put it under a broiler...it has a nice crispy crunch to it

I have been bad too!!! I love cobbler, I found these 2 packs in the freezer section, they have blackberry, peach and apple. I have been eating one of these almost every night with ice cream. I could just eat junk food and be totally satisfied.

Oh me too - I'm a junk food queen! I just can't have it in my house or I can't stop eating it.

I joined WW online this week, and since I'm paying for it, I am keeping track of my points. I guess I will buckle down to a healthier way of eating soon, but I had such a good laugh a couple of days ago. I ate an entire bag of Chex Trail mix. It was a big bag too!
42 points. I had 4 chocolate donuts the next day, and yesterday, another, smaller bag of Chex. I am obviously not taking this too seriously right now, but I feel that if I am accountable somewhere, I will take it more seriously. I only want to lose about 3 pounds, so I am not too worried. The problem is finding a good way to eat without feeling deprived all of the time. I have to do low carbs, but I do not enjoy cutting out carbs to an extreme point. A tummy tuck would take care of all of this!!!

No Diana, I'm sure she isn't allowed 42 points, I think she meant that there were 42 points in the bag of chex mix.
Judy, I'm sorry you ate the whole bag, but I'm so relieved that I am not the only one who does stuff like that. My problem is when I get on the junk food roll, I will gain 5 lbs in the twinkle of an eye and then it will take 5 weeks to get it off and back to where I was before the binge!

Why is the weight so hard to take off and so easy and quick to gain back? I can struggle, almost fasting, to lose 2 pounds in a week - then gain 10 over a weekend.
Last night was my night. I got my yearly raise yesterday and it was not what was promised to me to stay in this position. While I am extremely thankful that I have a good job, I am upset that they broke their promise to me. So, I stopped to get groceries (almost all junk food) on the way home and grazed all evening! Even the g-kids mentioned that I didn't get healthy food. Now, tonight, I'll try again for healthy food!

Sandy, that's too bad that you didn't get what was promised to you, but as you mentioned, you still have a job. Sounds like you need a hug.

I got my raise and a promotion. HR sent him the wrong papers! It feels good to have a manager who will go to bat for me. He actually used the words, "You deserve it."
