I would love being snowed in!!! But I'm not sure that I would enjoy it while alone.....too bad that you don't have a significant other to share being snowed in with!!!

Now THAT is snow!!!! I've never seen anything like that! Thank you for taking pictures, Judy. I'm glad the snowplows are there!

Oh Judy...pretty, but yuk!!! We don't have near that much. Guess I shouldn't complain, but I sure do not like snow.

Wow Judy!!!!!!!!
Pretty, but I know what you mean about not liking it anymore. There is just so much snow one can handle!! Years ago I was snowed in for a week. Ugg. Maybe you should reconsider and let Steve come pick you up for a few days stay with your daughter! Good luck, keep us posted!! |

I am dug out! I think ll go dig my car out and go into town for some provisions, and just to get out!
I didn't know if they would get to digging me out yesterday. First they had to clear the roads. I decided that there was no way I was going to feel trapped for another day, so I took a mop (my shovel is in the car) and started digging my way out. I just needed a narrow path from my house, up the steps to the road. It was kind of fun. The snow up here is very soft, so I kind of dug and pushed it out of my way with my body. You would be surprised at how much snow your butt can displace!!! At one point, the snow was up to my waist! I was pretty far along when Terry came and shoveled me out.

Those are great pictures Judy! I am not so sick of the snow now that I got a little break! We don't have near that much snow now though, it's been melting in the past couple of weeks.

There were lots of people without electricity for days, and I84 came to a standstill for hours while they towed one car or truck off at a time! There were a lot of weather disasters. The winds blew some barns down somewhere, and some cows were buried.
We ended up with 4 feet of snow. They dug my car for me, which was great! If you put all of these storms together with the 2 earthquakes in Haiti and in Chile, do you think God is trying to tell us something?
