I'm glad that you're going to have a talk with his mentor. That's outrageous to make a child redo something so many times. It's the child's work, not the mentor's. And to have a child come in 2 hours early for school. I would have had that teacher on the phone the night before and asked questions about that one. Something's not right. Your mentor sounds like a perfectionist, which is fine for his own work, but shouldn't expect someone else to do things at standards that they have set for themselves. Good luck in your little talk.

I'm not one to actually "tell" someone what to do, but Mandy, I wouldn't wait until the end of the month. His mentor and school officials need to know how important this is. Not something that can wait. My heart is going out to your son. That mentor can do some damage if he keeps it up.
