Court was closed! Small town life! I drove over, about 1/2 hour trip, parked in an empty parking lot, and on the door were two notices. The judge for yesterday was sorry, but court was closed due to a family emergency. Our next appointments are Feb. 9th. The judge from yesterday had also posted a note that, due to possible weather problems, court was closed.

It seems that judge 1 is there every other Wednesday from 5 PM on, and judge 2, every other Tuesday from 9 AM on. This is not a high crime area!

I have to call the courthouse because Jessie's birthday is February 9th and I certainly can't tell her about this! Maybe I can see the Tuesday judge.

But...I found a Walmart about 10 minutes away!!!

Sorry to hear that court was closed Judy! I just hate the waiting for it to be over though. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. I think everything will be just fine. I'm really happy that your spirits were lifted by finding that Walmart too!

Now on a serious note that is absurb!! I have never heard of being arrested for carrying medication. Wow! I feel for you, sorry you had to go through that. I am glad that your behaving you know us Bklyn girls we get an attitude quickly lol..
Now they postponed the court date but remember like the others have said be sweet and demure on that day. lol

I am mailing in a letter asking for a postponement, since I have an "important medical appointment. (It's Jessie's birthday)

They'll probably think I went to the doctor for more drugs!!!

Spoiler: I buttoned my blouse wrong, and walked into one interview with a bag filled with sponges, which I let spill onto the couch I was sitting on. I didn't get that job! Go figure!
