Gosh, it sounds like all of us ladies are in for some white stuff. Well....We will all have to get out and take some pics. (What else is there to do? Not as if any of us are gonna be able to shop)

In another post you said something about riding the 4-wheelers in the snow. We have 4-wheelers but ours don't do well in the snow. We also have two snowmobiles, but one isn't running right. Hubby had all summer and didnt' do a thing. I asked him why, reminded him that he use to take such good care of the snowmobiles, rototillers, anything that was seasonal and then asked why he doesn't do that anymore. He said he has just gotten older (he's only 54 for crying outloud) and just doesn't care.
I told him fine!!! Then I'm putting an ad in the paper for all that crap if he isn't going to take care of it anymore. Makes me angry that he doesn't care enough to let our son have a good time in the snow...like you said Sheryl...what else is there to do?

That's too bad Janet. So only one out of the two snowmobiles isn't working well. Maybe your son can ride the other? Ive never been on any of them before. It sounds fun. The rain isn't to change over to snow till noon. So we can head out then for a little ride. That works out fine anyway as we have some chores down at the horse pen first. So, sitting here drinking coffee and waiting for hubby to wake up. I'm gonna make some waffles to fill up our bellies then we're outta here. I will try to remember to take my camera along. Maybe I can capture a picture or two while we are out. Janet - are you in the mood for any baking? Possibly shopping online? What about maybe painting on some of that wood work you do?

Sorry, Janet, that the weather is suppose to get so bad up there. The snow pretty much missed us. We just have a light covering on the ground and we're suppose to get a little bit more but not too much. I'm disappointed but my daughter, Amy, will be happy. She has a play practice today with her children's church kids because their program is tomorrow. She was afraid that she'd have to cancel practice.
I can understand that your husband is more tired than he used to be. My husband and I are too but, we always say that Jaci keeps us young. We'll get up and do things with her when we really would have liked to have a nap!!!! Still that's too bad that your other snow mobile isn't running. Now would have been a perfect time to be out playing with it!!! Maybe your son and you could take a ride around the countryside together on one. That sounds like soooo much fun, except for getting cold!!!! AND....definitely take some pictures!!!!!!!!

Janet,
I think you should definitely do creative things, like your wood painting. As long as you have some fun. Rick will find things to do. Teenagers are remarkably resilient. I can understand dh being tired. I find that there are things I just can't get interested in anymore. Something happens to your energy at a certain age. The focus just changes. Sorry you're snowed in!

We ended up having about 3 inches of snow. Just enough to make the roads slippery. The grandkids came over this afternoon and made a few runs with the sled. I got home at the end of all the excitement........and just in time to make hot cocoa!! You know........Grandma stuff!!!!
