Gayle, you know how to take care of yourself and we know that you'll do it. It will be hard to cook for one so try to have your Mom over or go to her place to eat. That way you'll eat better.

Or send the left over here....you know how I hate to cook!

Seems I'm stuck again, but I'm sure once I get moving it will start coming off again. I really do not like plateau's!

Somehow in the past couple of weeks I managed to lose 4 lbs! It's the first I've lost so far!

That's great Lindsey! I'm still stuck. But I do have to say I haven't been real good here lately. I haven't gained, but with my nerves being about shot over the rental house and a few other things, I've ate for comfort. I'm going to do much better today and get myself back on track.

Okay....I know it's only been two days since my last post, but I'm still stuck. I would think that after the workout I got cleaning I would have at least dropped a lb. I'm still stuck at 240-241. I want to break 200 by the time school starts again. So...guess I'm just going to have to try even harder, but don't know it that is possible.

We're having a hard time here too. I find myself breaking the diet quite a bit lately. Dae Lynn doesn't help......she's an emotional eater so that makes it hard for me. Plus for her birhtday she made Rice Krispies treats......and they have chocolate and butterscotch chips with peanut butter.......YUMMMMM........There is NO way I can avoid these!!! Now I'm back on the diet!! I do try to stay on it as good as I can because of my diabetes.

The water in the pond is still a little cold but I'm anxious to get in and swimming again. I hope the exercise will help.

I'm hoping my 'stuck' period is over. I weighed myself this morning and weighed 238. I waited until after I went to town and weighed myself again and still at 238, I am so happy!!!! I think all the working out cleaning finally kicked me over the edge... I sure hope this is a sign of things to come. Something I should have done before I started was to measure myself. My pj's are so big on me now and this morning when I put on a pair of shorts, they are big too, so I think I've lost some inches.

Thank you! It does make me feel good. It's funny that I immediately started feeling thin...LOL...thin at 238 can't ya believe it??? Then I looked in the mirror and thought...sure have a ways to go. I'll get there.

Okay....guess I'm gonna take a break. I got down to 238 and now I'm back up to 240. Just can seem to get past it. So...I'm just going to forget about it for awhile...oh I'll weigh myself just to make sur I don't gain, but I feel like I need a break.

I understand. I'm at that point myself. But....it's hard to go back to eating carbs since I've been off of them for so long. I'm still going to not eat so many of them. I'm hoping that when I start swimming again that I'll start losing. I know that I'm not active enough.
