Has anyone ever or has a child that has tubes in there ears? If so are they ok now..
Micah might needs tubes in his ears and i am so upset its not even funny.. I'm about to jump off a bridge some where.. The poor kid now has fluild built up in both ears the doctor wants to see us again a day after Christmas to see if the fluid is still in his ears then we will talk about tubes... depressing i tell you...

That's a LONG time to wait - IMHO. What's the treatment for the next month?

Four of my g-kids have had tubes and all are fine, great, and exceptional - WITH NO PROBLEMS. One of them came out too early and had to get a second one, but there were no complications. It actually is a very good thing to do.

No bridge jumping necessary!

the doctor wants to see if the fluid build up is gone. if not he is going to recommend us to an ear, eyes and throat specialist. I have to wait he needs to send us to a specialist for my insurance to pick it up.. i thought that was stange too but... we'll see, if Micah gets worse i'm taking him back again...... he's been waking up screaming again, i can't take that much anymore. I will take him back.

I had a friend that had tubes in a couple of her daughters ears. They always seem to get along with them alright. It sure helped them from getting earaches all the time. Her daughter's ear aches were caused by allergies. They eventually grew out of the allergies. I think that earaches are very common among small children.
