Yeast Bread

Does any one have any good yeast bread recipes.
I love making yeast bread but I'm looking for something easy and fast.
Thanks

I have a good recipe from my step-grandmother. I mix up this recipe in my bread machine then take it out, make loaves, and bake in the oven. When I do that I heat the milk, sugar, and salt in the microwave and add a stick of butter when I take it out of the microwave to cool the milk mixture down. To add to the bread machine make sure you put in your yeast first, then flour and dry ingredients, then add your liquid on top of the liquids.

Rich Sweet Dough

3/4 c. milk, scalded
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. warm water
2 pkg. yeast
1 egg, beaten
4 c. flour
1/4 c. butter

Combine scalded Milk, sugar, salt, and butter. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in water and stir into milk mixture. Add egg and 2 c. flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in remaining flour and make a stiff batter. Cover dough with foil. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. May be kept in the refrigerator 3 days. To use cut off amount needed and shape as desired. Bake 20 minutes at 400*.

I have another recipe for crescent rolls that I make for every holiday that is very easy if anyone is interested in it.

I'd love to have your crescent roll recipe also. I make those for all of our family reunions in the summer and never have any left to bring home. Thanks.

I really wish I loved to cook. I'm always afraid I'll make something, taste like crap and then all the money, food and time is wasted. If I could have a guarantee, then maybe. I do love doing the cooking for Thanksgiving though.

Maybe I'll try cooking a little more and be creative.
