Janet! I absolutely love your glass items. And the cracker bowl is just so beautiful. NOW I really wish I had been at that auction with you!!!

I'm sorry to post a couple of pictures of my glasses, but it just occurred to me that you might run across some of these glasses in your auction/flea market travels. These are two pictures of my grandma's depression era pressed glassware. I have several of these glasses. They hold 10 oz and are about 4 1/2 inches high. I'm looking for the 16 oz size and I found some once but it was a very high end antique store and they wanted $20 each! So if you ever run across the larger size in this pattern, and they are a reasonable price, please get them for me. I paid $3 each for some of these 10 oz glasses. I'd be happy to pay $6-$7 each for the bigger glasses.

Those glasses are so pretty! Isn't that called the Starburst design? I know I've seen some, but can't remember where. I don't recall seeing anything like that at the auction on Saturday. I will definitely keep my eye out. I'll print out a picture and just keep it in my purse with the you're wanting. I really love decorative glassware.

Some of those that have the pour spout I have put dish soap in. Makes it look so pretty sitting by the sink.

Yes, I think it is starburst. I see the small glasses like I have from time to time, but rarely see the larger glasses.

Oh, I think soap in the pour glasses is such a good idea!

The pattern is also call Star of David and you can find pieces of it pretty easily. I've been looking on e-bay and the large tumblers are hard to find. Here's some that I found......

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Libb...item3cc9c1257d

Here's some smaller ones.....8 to 10 oz.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/EAPC-Tumbler...item2a21bec570

I'll keep my eyes open too!!

Janet, your purchases look wonderful!! I noticed that one of the cruets match the large bowl you bought when I was there!! Nice!! I really like the bowls on the pedestals and the cracker jar is just beautiful!! You did really good and what fun I'm sure you had! There's nothing more fun than going to an auction, buying some things, then coming home and cleaning them up and displaying them!!

The candle holders will look very nice on your mantle with some colored candles in them. Put one of each holder on each side and put books under one set to make them be at different heights.....use some old books to add some interest!! Fun!!

I really haven't done anything with the glassware except for clean it and put them in the hutch and cabinet. I will display them better later. I like the idea of putting the candel holders on the fireplace mantle. I already have a couple there, but it may look really nice with more.

Group them together.....three on one side and three on the other. You can even get different sizes and heights to add to them.

Diana, that for looking up the glassware I am looking for. You are right, the larger glasses are very scarce. I guess that is why they are so expensive.

If you keep an eye on e-bay you can often find some bargains. You just have to keep looking for them and one day they'll show up at a decent price.
