DANGER - Read the labels!!!
I was just reading the local newspaper this evening and in it there is where the Health Dept. does it's checks at the local restaurants and grocery stores. Wal Mart was cited for have Infant Formula on the shelf with an expiration date of July 2006.
Be sure everyone to check the expiration dates on what perishables you buy. I remember last year at Wal Mart, I bought Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and when I put the cheese packet in it, it was a dark brown, mustard color. I checked the expiration date and it was 2 years old. I took it in to the manager and he was flabergasted. He went and checked and found one more like that. I bet who ever works in that dept. got a chewing out BIG TIME!!!
