AAAHHHHH gained 3 lbs!!!

Finally got up the courage to weigh. I've gained 3 lbs this month!! Hope they come off easily. Ya know, I would still enjoy the holidays by eating though. We just have to indulge in a few of our favorite foods or just what is the point!!

You're much braver than I am!!! I'm not planning on stepping on the scales until New Year's Eve. That way, some of the Christmas weight might slip off. I know I've gained some, I can feel it! Soon as the Eclair Cake is gone...I'm starting!!!...LOLOL

I can't believe that you would step on the scales the day AFTER Christmas!! How brave!!!! I'm going to wait for a few days before I even think about it!!

Actually I don't think that I didn't do too bad. I didn't get the homemade fudge made and that's always the hardest thing for me to stay out of, so I did pretty good this year.

I even worked out this afternoon, came home and had some chocolate, went out to eat bar-b-q. Just ate a piece of sweet potato pie. How do ya think I'm doing??? Maybe it will at least balance out so I don't gain even more. Oh, well, next month, I'll be good again.

I'm not getting on the scales again for a few days at least. Hubby got sick Tuesday evening & with taking care of him and getting out some trying to catch a few after Christmas sales, I have not made it to the gym, and can't stay away from the bad foods. I must do better after New Years. It's just so hard, especially after 6 months of eating healthy and working out regularly. It's like I deserve to enjoy the holidays. Right!?

I am anxious to start taking some of this weight off too. Most all the bad stuff is out of the house now. New Year's Eve we'll have our traditional seafood supper, so I'll either start on the 1st or the 2nd. I just pray I will be able to keep up my determination and not fail....AGAIN!

Janet, you got me so hungry for seafood, I thawed out some of those jumbo shrimp and cooked them a couple of days ago. They were soooo good!! My hubby was sick so he couldn't enjoy with us. Will cook some more when he's able to share.

Yeah, I'm really excited for our New Year's meal. We love seafood, but it's so expensive. Before my son was born, my husband and I used to go to Red Lobster once a month. Then my son started liking it and well...now we go once or twice a year and then fix it at New Year's. My mouth is watering just writing this.

Do most of you have a gym close by? If I want to go workout somewhere I either have to drive to our town about 10 miles to Curves or the YMCA or someplace in Lafayette, about 20 -25minutes away. I just never want to drive very far. I have everything I need....nice treadmill and weights...VCR with different workout tapes..if I'd just get busy!

You might try getting you some good workout music to go with the treadmill, or do you have a TV setup to watch to get you mind off what you are doing? We have two nice treadmills, but I prefer the equipment at the gym & the atmosphere helps you feel like working out. Plus, it cost you money that you don't want to go to waste.

I have my treadmill in my computer room right in front of the TV. I have no excuse!

I am planning to start on the 2nd, because everytime I start on the 1st of anything .... I fail....so I'm trying to trick the weight loss fairies!!!
