Weight Watchers
So I'm seriously looking to lose some weight. We were looking through some photos on the computer and we came across some we took when we went to Mexico 2 years ago, and I looked thin!! Or at least smaller than I am now, I remember then I was freaking out about my weight and I've gained 20 pounds since, and I'm tired of it.
So I was wondering, has anyone used Weight Watchers? I've heard of people losing a lot of weight with them and I wanted to know if any of yall had tried it so I can know what I'm getting myself into. I wanna lose about 40-50 pounds, I'm 190 right now so it's a reasonable goal, I just wanna be back to 150 like the good ol days. I'm gonna find a place in or around where I go to school and first chance I get while I'm up there I'm going so for those who haven't used them I'll keep you posted I just gotta keep it under wraps cause for some reason I don't want my boyfriend to know...

I would say weight watchers is may be the number 1 sliming company in the uk, I have had friends use them with great results. I am thinking of joining but with me it is having to go to a class and with looking after my granddaughter it is a bit difficult to take her along. You can join online so I may do that but at least with the class you would have other people to be with for encoragement. We even have a popular resturant here that has weight watchers point system on the menu. So good luck with your weight loss and let us know how you are getting on.

I have heard many positive things towards Weight Watchers. I've been on various programs and spent gobs of money only to gain my weight back. No fault of the programs whatsoever, it's just now I think I will try to do it on my own. If not, Weight Watchers would be the first place I call.

I've also heard a lot of great things about WW. I am wanting to start again, but I knew it would do no good with the ups and downs we were experiencing with my mother-in-law. So I'll probably look to start in a couple weeks after everything else settles down.

I'm currently on Weight Watchers. Barely on my third week, I'm doing the turn around, flex plan.
And I LOVE IT! I'm very happy with it. I heard about it from my co-worker who has lost 23 pounds. Also her friend is on it too and has lost 8 pounds in a month. I've only lost 3 pounds, but then again, i don't exercise (im trying to fit it in my busy schedule).. and i'm hoping once i start becoming more active.. i'll lose more. i think it's a great program, very cheap and it's really easy.. and you don't hav eto stress about what to eat blahb lah.. because really you can eat WHATEVER you want, just as long as you stay in your points range! it's great! you can PM me if you want! |

Sweet! I've tried so many diets but I have a tendency to binge in the wrong direction. I'ld try to eat better and it would tempt me to eat stuff I shouldn't like ice cream and donuts, when I'm not trying to watch what I eat I don't eat that kind of stuff. I'm really hoping this works, and my roommate and I are serious about getting in shape and working out maybe I can get her to join Weight Watchers with me. They have group exercise classes at school and if I get into those then I'll have a reason to go to the gym, I have a hard time getting there on my own accord just to work out.

I have been on ww in the past, and they do give you lots of foods to eat. I was on the point system. I have lost weight with this program. The important thing is that you write down what you eat during the course of day. The diary is what keeps you within your points, now as Kim said the flex points is another option which I have no clue to.. Good luck you will do it...

I lost 35 lbs on WW about 4 years ago and I am currently back on it. I've lost 15 lbs this time and have a few more to go. It is a great way to eat and very easy to follow - after you learn the point counting system.
Good Luck! |

I did WW in college and lost 10 lbs and kept it off. I did the flex points plan and I could eat really whatever I wanted. It's all about portion control.
