How Many Times?

How many times so far in your life have you fallen in love?

Puppy love counts. Your children don't count.

If I can remember correctly I count 9 times.

I had a crush on or was dating my husband throughout most of high school...There was nothing serious before then, so I would have to say 1. (He's my one and only, how sweet, lol!)

1, the guy I'm with now, I never quite got past the "liking" stage with any of my exs.

LOL ~ I have to change mine to 10. I remember'd another last night after making this post. I don't know how I forgot about him, I really loved him a lot. He really treated me well and had a big heart. Due to not so great things about him, it just wasn't ever meant to be.

Life moved on...

I have to say 4. I've said it more than that, but didn't really mean it. I know that sounds bad, but at the time you think you are, but you're not really.

Twice...but the first one I knew wasn't "the one" for me, so I got out before it got serious. My heart was there, though....oh woe to the powers of chemical attraction, LOL!!!!

Of course I fell in love with my husband....but he fell in love with me first. When he told me "I love you" - it was a little early, and he said he was sure I'd love him too, and he was willing to wait....and he was right, I did. His sweet patience is what helped that process along, actually.

And does falling in and out, and back in love with the same person [my husband] count for numbers? (Just kidding, I know, I know.) B/c that's happened a time or two, lol. *I love him always*, I'm in-love with him....sometimes. Does that make sense?
