Well HE DID IT!!

I watched my son put his car in the ditch!!

I thought it was his car I saw on the road ahead of me, so when I turned onto the same road I saw his left turn signal go on and then the car slide to the right. I knew what had happened!! I just stopped and made him get on the bus.

When I dropped him off at the high school, he had the nerve to say...if you get it pulled out and back to school...I stopped him right there and said...NOT GOING TO HAPPEN SON!!!

He will like it even less when I drive him to work!!! Sometime today a tow truck will bring his car home. It will cost my son $40 so maybe if he starts having to spend his money he'll slow down a little bit. That was the first thing he said to me......."I started slowing down early Mom so I wouldn't slide"...I'm thinking yeah right!!! obviously not slow enough.

I do have to say...on my way home I went back by where his car is in the ditch and it just made me so sick in my stomach. Knowing it could have been worse and it was MY son's car. I don't think I'm going to make it through winter.
