Pearl....I know you know better than to think that's what I call it!
Went to dinner a month or so ago with a bunch of friends and one of them invited their friends.....Jimmy and Carl. They are such nice men and have been together for years. Anyhow, Jimmy and I somehow got on the topic of oatmeal.....don't remember how we got there, but we did! He told me about this oatmeal that is excellent and that I really should try it. So the next time I was in the store I found it and bought it. Never noticed it before but it's right next to Quaker's oatmeal. A little bit more money but I figured I'd give it a whirl. Now Thelma knows every night before bed I have a bowl of cereal. As a matter of fact, she sent me an adorable diva bowl that I use. So we're chatting late one night and I say I'm making my new oatmeal that Jimmy told me about. Now do you see where gay man oatmeal came from? But the point is....it's really, really good! Not so sure I like Thelma's description....sounds kind of ! (but true) |

hahaha is it like regular oatmeal, like just the oats that you boil or is it like the quick stuff. my dad is crazy about oatmeal, makes it a lot and insists on nearly burning the pot every single time he does. (drives my mom mad)
maybe i should tell him about gay man oatmeal. |

ok, i was hoping that it wasn't one of those ones, they give me the creeps lol.
ya i really don't get my dad, his father was a chef and used to yell at him and his brothers if they didn't treat the knifes or cast iron pan the right way. apparently he never got to the pot treatment lesson. |
