Daughter & G-Kids Moving Back Home

I wish this was an April Fool's prank, but it's not!

My youngest daughter is having hubby problems (married almost 7y) and came packing back home yesterday - with a 3yo and 3mo. She didn't want to talk about it last night, just said that he hasn't treated her nicely lately. I asked if she would be safe and she said yes. We're pretty sure he has had an affair before.

I guessed something was going on last weekend when he didn't come to my son's "reunion" and she was "distant". When she drove up, the g-son told us that they were getting a new house by Uncle Jeff, so obviously Paula's been talking/explaining things to him. She's not working, but has a degree in Marketing and an Alternative Teaching Certificate, so she should be able to support herself.

I'm attaching a picture of my brood. Everybody's in the picture except the 3mo g-daughter (napping) and the bedridden 16yo g-son. Front row, L to R = Baylor (Paula's 3yo son), Abby (Jeff's 5yo daughter), Delaney (Laura's 9yo daughter), Emily (Jeff's wife) holding Sarah (Jeff's 7mo daughter), Roxann (31yo daughter), Christian (Laura's 11yo daughter), Paula (29yo daughter). Back row, L to R = Laura (36), Rick (Emily's dad), Jeff (33yo son), ME, Harold (hubby), Jonathan (Laura's hubby), Andrew (Laura's 16yo son).

Good luck to your daughter and her family Sandy. I'm glad she has you to help her transition and get back on her feet...and I'm sure you'll enjoy spending time with the grandbabies for a while. Congrats to your daughter for having the courage to do what's best for her and her children. *hugs*

Marriage problems are always a sad happening. I'm glad your daughter has you and such a large family to help her through this. If it can be worked out....great. If not...I wish her all the strength to help her and her children through this.

I just called to check on her. She's staying tough and knows she has to start looking for a job. I am a little anxious to find out more about what he did. I ask her if it is over and she said, "Yes, I think so!".

Hey Sandy, it's me Niki from YT. I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter, she must be going through a really hard time. I cannot imagine having to do that, especially having children. I will be praying for your daughter and everyone involved.

I am very sorry for your daughter. Even though I know this must be hard for her, it sounds like she has a good head on her shoulders and is ready to move on. i have known several people who fall apart during a breakup and do not get things in order for their new life. it does not sound like this is the case. that takes a strong woman.
