Celebrate what I have

I've decided I need to celebrate what I have rather than mourn for what I've lost... so Here are my 4-legged kids.

april8 bella.jpg Remember a few months ago when I got Bella and she was a skinny, sad looking mess? Well here's what a few months of good food, worming and TLC has done.

april8canada.jpg Canada is due in a few days, so has quite the girlish figure right now.

april8snuggles7months.jpg Snuggles is 7 months old so is looking less and less like a Lab, more and more like the doodle she is.

april8chip.jpg My teddy bear Chip needs a haircut, but I've been holding off because I love the soft feel of his puppy coat.

Tink, they are all very beautiful!!! Bella looks so heathy and sleak. Canada is her gorgeous pregnant self. Snuggles looks like someone it would be great to snuggle with, and Chip, well are you sure he's still in there???

You have a wonderful group, and puppies on the way. You are going to have a handfull very soon!!!! Looks like a lot to celebrate to me!!

OMG you guys would have laughed yourselves sick watching me today.
I took Snuggles and chip in to the vet for exams since I have people wanting to buy snuggles and I've been asked to stud out Chip.

Neither has really been on a leash, and of course there they have to be. SO there I am trying to lead 2 unruly pups pulling in opposite directions, running around me, and just generally being silly.

I got them into the car (NO small feat) drove to town, OUT of the car (even worse since Chip planted himself and decided he was staying where he was)... So I finally wrestle him out of the car and into the clinic making a total spectacle of ourselves. The vet tech sees us and says you can take them to exam room 3... I said "I'll try to aim them in that direction, but if they lead me off PLEASE come find us!"

They were very nice for the vet and he complimented me on their sweet temperaments and friendliness which was nice. He also let them bring my bill into the exam room so I could pay it there with the pups contained rather than try to write a check with them pulling on me in the lobby.

So I wrestled them back out to the car... snuggles jumped in nicely and chip refused, so I had to pick him up and force him in again.

I was SO glad to get them home and back in their run! I should have known better than to try to take them together... lol lesson learned.

At least they both got a clean bill of health!

Tink I have enough trouble with my little 7 lb. 12 ounce Maltese when he gets stubborn. You have beautiful dogs.

You do tell a good story, as Janet said!

That sounds exhausting! I'm glad they both checked out healthy.

Thanks all. It looks like weather permitting, Snuggles will be going to a new home this weekend. They're a family with horses, a pond, a hobby farm, kids and cats and want a dog that can be taken with them anywhere they go. Sounds like she'd be in Doodle heaven!

They are all looking great, Tink!! Bella has certainly grown up and filled out. Snuggles is just adorable and I bet that her new family will just love her. Canada, I'm sure is ready to have her puppies. I sure she feels just like the rest of us did at 9 months! And Chip, He just looks like a big ol' bear!! What a cutie!!!

You DO tell a good story, Tink, even if it's just taking a couple of pups to the vet!!!

Tink, I just love your babies ... especially Snuggles ( I guess it's the tongue )
Our neighbor has a labradoodle that looks just like Snuggles and he is just the cutest, most personable BIG dog that I know. Makes my day when we go walking and he happens to be outside too.
