CRAZY things we do as we get older.

This should be FUNNY!!! My friend went to Wallmart to get bug spray, when she walked in, she said to herself, "this place has really changed!" Looked up and saw, "Welcome to Lowe's!!"
Now, we were in our 50's, a different friend. We went to the Mall and when we left, could not find the car, we tried to remember which entrance we went into, went back in and exited another, and another. We were out walking again and she put her hand up over her eyes for a sun visor and I said, "For the of-------- why are walking around in the parking lot "Looking like an old woman that can't find her car?" Here is me trying to be cool like I Know where My car is.

Those are good ones!!!! I'm afraid that you don't always have to be older to have moments like that!! I had a real embarassing moment when I was younger and I don't even like to think about how stupid it was!!!

Hahaha is it bad that I'm 23 and I never know where my car is in a parking lot? I made it a little easier on myself and bought a bright yellow one so it sticks out a little more, but sometimes I'll walk to the other side of a parking lot because I see a yellow car, and when I get there I realize it's not mine!

When my sister was in her 20's she to her child's school for a conference and when she got off of the elevator, looked down and forgot to put her skirt on, just the slip.
When she was in her 30's, the phone rang and she picked up the coffee pot and said "hello".

I took my daughter out to lunch once. She wanted to go to Denny's for some special thing, I forget what. Well, we pulled up and walked in. I had to go to the bathroom, so as soon as the waitress showed us her table I got up and went to the ladies' room. Megan decided to come with me. Then we went back out and sat down and the menus said iHOP! We were both all confused. I say "Why does Denny's have iHOP menus?" Well, duh....we went into the wrong resturant. We both got up and left. I was so embarrassed I told Megan they probably thought we only went in to use their bathrooms. Then we walked across the parking lot to Denny's!

I hate sharing this one because it was so stupid of me but here goes.....

Years ago when my older kids were preschoolers, we had a club in town for mother's of preschoolers called Mother's Guide. For a money making project once we decided that we would go door to door and ask questions for the County Treasuer to help with tax appraisals. Very simple.

We all paired up and were given an area to cover. I was paired with a woman who was fairly new to the group and I didn't know her very well. She was someone that would remind you of a professional person and appeared very intelligent, you know the kind that I'm talking about. Anyway, we rode together and she parked her car (which was a fairly nice car) on the east side of the street and we got out and went to the houses on that side of the block. Then we went to another side of the block and continued on. We went back to the car to move to another area and the car was GONE! She panicked! We were close to where my Mom worked so we went there to call the police. So this woman calls the police and she's waiting for them to arrive and my Mom suggested that she and I drive around and see if we can find the car. We didn't drive very far and there the car was........right where we'd left it!!!! We had moved the car to the north side of the block and neither of us remembered that we'd done it!!!! I went back laughing to where my friend was, but she didn't think that it was very funny! I'm not sure that she's spoken to me since!!!! Of course, EVERYONE found out about it! So, so embarassing!!!

In my 40's, kept a dish of fragrant wax, those little tiny ones, on the TV where it was warm and they smelled so good. I was busy making clam did and knocked it off, had a Maltese so I scramble to pick every last one up. Finished the dip, put it in the fridg. when hubby got home he started snacking as asked me what kind of nuts was in the clam did, told him there were none, he kept eating and asked me again, showed me his teeth and they were coated in, GUESS WHAT? Since that day he checks his food really good.

That's pretty funny!! I'm surprised that your husband didn't comment on the waxy feel!!!

Comment on my post: I wasn't ever good friends with this woman so I'm not surprised that she's never spoken to me again. I see her once in a while around town and I'm tempted to ask her if she remembers me!!!!
