My mother had her cataracts removed. They did it with lasers. After wearing glasses her whole life, at 85 she no longer needs them, only to read.
Sorry I have no advice, but I'm sending you my best wishes for a very successful treatment.

My advice is to just relax because it is such a piece of cake as far as medical procedures go! Oh and be prepared to see dust you never knew you had! My mother went on a cleaning frenzy after she had her surgery!

Take deep breaths, and maybe a couple of drinks and/or tranquilizers every day until it's over.
I had lasix and it's nothing. They will give you a valium if you feel very nervous.

They will sedate me, for sure. I am such a wimp, had to be put to sleep to have my eyelids done.

What did you have done to your eyelids? Was it cosmetic? I want to have that done!

I don't have any advice but the ones that I've known that have had it done seem to do very well afterward. I'm sure that you'll do fine but I'll say a prayer for you so you won't be afraid and that everything goes well. Hugs!!

One in Aug. and the other in Sept. They don't do both at the same time.

You look like a monster for a month or six weeks but it is worth it. A lot of people told me that I look younger.

Keep us updated. Sometimes when you know you need to have something done too far in advance, you just get more anxious.
We're here for you.
