Hubby unhappy with job

I'm so frustrated. My hubby had a good job in his field when we lived in Madison, IN. I was having a hard time finding a job & my dad wanted me to come work for him. So he made up a job for my hubby. We took the jobs & moved. When we got here the job for my hubby wasn't what was promised & he was unhappy. He complained to my dad who told him if he didn't like it he could quit so he did. He looked for a job for over a year & couldn't find one. So I worked him back into the company. He ended up being a planner & then a scheduler. He hated the scheduling, but it was a job. Now he's been moved to an actual engineer (in title only) position. He is so bored & so unhappy. I want to believe he's lookin for a job, but I don't really know. He says he can't find anything. I try to help, but I feel like he doesnt' want me to. I just feel aweful & that his career is crappy because my dad made us move, by lying. He has an electrical engineer degree from Rose Hulman, but he hasn't used it in like 5 years. I feel all that money he payed is now wasted because of me. I want to help, but I don't know how. I've already told him I would move anywhere or do anything for his career, but it still seems pretty stagnant. I'm just hoping we're kind of stuck here for a reason right now. mY mom needs a lot of help with my g-pa & we've been really needed in that area. Maybe once my g-pa is gone (not that i wish that, but he's not getting any younger) something will come up for hubby. Here's hoping. I'm just frustrated & I feel so aweful for him.

Sorry, that this is going on with your husband. I can see why he's fustrated. Maybe you could encourage him to go to some other cities and apply for some jobs there. It's really hard to work for family because you don't want problems with a job to get into family relations. Spend some time in prayer and see where the Lord's leading you.

Excellent advice Diana. He should just keep applying and see what happens and never ever give up.

I believe he continues to look, but there is nothing around here that's really in his area. He has had a few calls & some phone interviews, but nothing has come of that. I'll just keep praying that when the time is right something good will happen for him.

Still praying that your husband will find something soon. I know it has to be so frustrating.
