I've been MIA!

I missed you guys! I was sick with a cold for over a week but feel better now. I've been keeping myself busy making birthstone bracelets and some other bracelets. I love beading it's so much fun! But now I'm getting extra orders in from some of my friends so that's what I have to do today.

Today is my anniversary too. We've been married for 13 years! It went so fast! I hope I can get back in the loop soon!

Wondered what happened to you!!!! Glad you're feeling better. Now you know we're going to want to see what your bracelets look like, right? So now we need a picture of them. I bet they are beautiful. I like doing crafts like that too, but have not tried beading yet. Maybe I'll have to look into it.

Oh,..and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!

HOPE THERE ARE MANY MORE HAPPY YEARS TO COME!!

Thank you!! No special plans today. My husband treats me so well all year round I told him he doesn't need to do anything special today because everyday is special with him. How sappy was that! But really it's true.

Thanks Janet! I swear beading is like therapy! Here's a couple of bracelets I made yesterday. The first one is a little girls birthstone bracelet made with sterling silver, Swarovsky crystals and freshwater pearls. The 2nd one is a Mother's bracelet with two different birthstones made with the same material as the 1st. And the last one I made for myself out of glass beads, freshwater pearls and crystal.

Today I'm going to design a breast cancer awareness bracelet after I do a few child bracelets.

I really enjoy it so much!

Carolyn the bracelets are just lovely!!! I would love to learn how to make them.

Are there kits one can buy or tips you can share? I really would like to give it a try.

Janet they do sell kits at craft stores that you might want to try. I just hopped right into it! My daughter loves bracelets so I decided hey why not make them myself. I just finished another one with Rubies. It's really fun!

You can also get a beading magazine and see if it's something you think you might get into. I like http://www.beadstylemag.com/

Welcome back to us all here Carolyn! And...glad you are feeling better. You are so talented with your beading projects, I am envious!! We are having a huge yearly crafts fair in town this weekend. I am sure your bracelets would be a great hit here!! Too bad you didn't live closer.

Thanks Sheryl! I might do a craft fair eventually but the only thing is the bracelets I make are basically made to order. But it does sound like fun!

Thanks Carolyn, I'm gonna start checking into this. There are a few good craft stores in nearby Lafayette, so I'm gonna check it out this weekend.
