Boycotting Wal-mart
My daughter just told me that Wal-mart is supporting the gay and lesbian community. I did some searching on the internet to check it out and sure enough they are. Get this-
Quote:
If you read down on the snopes web page they are asking for a boycott of Wal-mart and Sam's Club on the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. I won't be going and I'll definitely be buying more at other places. http://www.afa.net/Petitions/IssueDetail.asp?id=210 http://www.snopes.com/politics/sexuality/walmart.asp

I don't like discrimination of any kind! I think everyone should get the "special treatment." They really should start with their own employees.

I don't think it's fair that they are giving homosexuals preferential treatment. Everyone should be treated the same. Do I think that homosexuals should be able to claim their partners on their insurance, YES. Do I think that homosexuals should be allowed to marry? Yes. So, I do not have a problem with homosexual people. They are all God's people and who am I to judge?
Back to the original topic. I don't shop the day after Thanksgiving so I guess you can say that I'll boycott Wal-mart on that weekend.

I think that everyone should be treated equal. If you are gay, you should be treated the same way as if you are not. Being gay does not make you any less of a human being. It do however think it's weird that they are getting special treatment. Everyone should have the same benifits at walmart...hummm

And I was happy that Walmart has said that they were going to say Merry Christmas this year. But now this. It is always something, isn't it.

First of all, homosexuals want to be treated the same a heterosexuals so why this? doesn't make sense!! so we ALL have to become homosexual to get special treatment!!?? Guess I won't be getting special treatment!

The boycott has been called off. Here's what the internet had to say about it.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15835445/ I'm glad because I shop quite a bit at Wal-mart.
