I think we have a little bit of good news. They are finally FINALLY after two years of this, going to run some different test to see if they can find where it is bleeding. The chances are somewhat better because she is still bleeding through her bowels. They will be running this test today and if it comes back negative then they will go ahead with the camera pill. I just pray they find what is causing this. Thanks everyone for your prayers and support.

These new tests are just incredible - the medicos are able to tell so much more about what's going on and then to figure out ways to fix it. Sounds like you lucked into some good ones.

My Mom is still bleeding. They did this scan yesterday and found a good size hole in her colon. This morning I called her and she was just sick and crying a little. She has to drink that 'Go-lite' stuff to clean her out and she's having a hard time getting it down. They are going to do a colonoscopy at 3:00 this afternoon and see if they can repair it that way. If not, they will do surgery to repair it. I hate that she has to go through all this. She's been on a liquid diet since Monday morning and wants real food. She even made the comment that she would just as soon die if she had to keep going through all this.

I feel so bad for her. I wanted to be with her today, but told her she would only be sitting on the toilet. I would rather be with her right before she has the colonoscopy and after it over with so I will come later this afternoon.

Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

Janet, I'm so sorry that you're Mom is having a hard time with this but I'm glad that the doctors finally know what the problem is. She'll be on the road to recovery in no time!!! She's in my prayers.

Imagine that - these scans are really miraculous! I am delighted to hear that you know what's wrong and have a path to follow towards healing for your mother. Those drinks are awful - can't blame her one bit for grousing about it - I am sure your support makes it so much easier to keep going. Hang in there, Janet.

Today Mom had a colonoscopy. While up there they found something like a leision that was bleeding. They carterized it and then stapled the hole shut. This morning, after the colonoscopy was done, the surgern said he thinks this has been the source of the bleeding for the last two years. Please pray that it is and now that they've done the procedure she won't be bleeding anymore.

I'm so sorry a lot of words are misspelled, but I just can't think well right now. Thank you all again for holding us close. I truly love you all so much, I just wish I could hug you all.

I finally get on here and i see what's been going on in your life once again.
You and your mom are in my prayers. Hope this works for her. She will feel
like a new woman soon. Since knowing your mom for 25 years as i have i know she has spunk. That has to be where you get yours girlfriend.
