Congratulations on your anniversary and Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone had a wonderful day filled with loved ones, and of course, that the feast turned out fabulous!

I only fudged my pecan brittle, the sugar was temperamental once I got it boiling. I scrapped it since it was only meant for a decorative topping for the pumpkin cheesecake.
Instead, I baked the cheesecake in a heart shaped dish, pushed some pecans into the sour cream/nutmeg/sugar/cinnamon topping then grabbed a Christmas tree cookie cutter and sprinkled cinnamon sugar.

Honestly, I put way too much thought into it. That cheesecake really didn't need all that sparkle to shine, that recipe is a keeper

It felt good and definitely in the holiday spirit, Brads grandmother didn't have to worry about the Thanksgiving headaches. We brought the food to her and cleaned up for her. I am going to bring her over some more ham and peanut butter fudge tomorrow when we pick her up for grocery shopping.

My first Thanksgiving as a wife and as a vegetarian!
