Momo the Jazz Cat

Here's one about a cat that my friend adopted. He's an orange tabby cat. She told me about him and this is the true story of Momo. Clifton is the local jazz man in Momo's town.

Momo the Jazz Cat

Razz-a-ma-tazz!
Clifton's playing some jazz!
Momo the Jazz Cat goes razz-meow-razz!

He sways in one spot 'cause the music is hot
Momo's hair curls like a viol round his ears;
he chases the dogs showing he has no fears.
Momo sleeps on my roof where the chimney is hot;
in the morning I hear him pitty-pat from that spot.
He leaps off the shingles, lands on the porch floor;
if his food isn't ready he yowls at my door.
Momo streaks down the road, tail swishing with pride
to find Clifton the Jazz Man - Momo sits by his side
and sways in one spot if the music is hot.

Razz-a-ma-tazz!
Clifton's playing some jazz!
Momo the Jazz Cat goes razz-meow-razz!
