OH gosh I cannot even think about it. My heart still aches and it does still bring tears to my eyes. I am from Boston area and 2 of the planes involved left from Logan Airport. How sad Also NYC is not so far from us and its one of my favorite places in the world. I just love it! I've been to ground 0 on New Years Day 2002 (3 months later) and it was tear jerking. Lines of flowers and people around BLOCKS trying to say their prayers.

Every year on this anniversary we all come together as Americans, it seems for one day we are capable of opening our hearts wider and we come together with one common goal, to pay our respects to those who were lost in those tragedies. To grieve together. I know we are all busy and we all go on our way each and every day, but to have this one day to come together as a nation and grieve together makes the United States seem a little bit smaller and a little more like one gigantic family. Peace to your hearts today ladies.
