Sleepless in South Texas....

I'm so frustrated. Normally I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow and don't wake up until the alarm goes off. With all the extra things to do for Christmas, I've been staying up later than normal, so I'm a little sleep deprived lately. Yesterday morning was my first opportunity to really sleep in and catch up, so about 3 a.m. yesterday I woke up & was wide awake. Couldn't go back to sleep. My stomach hurt, and I kept worrying about our girls. Finally dosed off and got some rest around 4 am.

Now, tonight, here I am again. We are having heavy rain storms, which I usually sleep through and find out about in the morning, but not tonight. Everytime it rains, I wake up, so here I am on the computer at 4:20 when I would normally be sound asleep. I have to get up at 6:45 to get ready for church, so can't sleep in today. I'm on vacation this week, so hopefully will catch up on some sleep, but this is really a bummer.

Hope this won't develop into a pattern. Maybe it's age or something. I don't know, but I really need some sleep!!!!!!
