Baby Xander
Please say prayers for my new grandson Xander. He has been tested for downs syndrome. They won't know for about two weeks. Seems like a long time for test results to me but that's what the dr told my son and his wife. She was tested for this while she was pregnant and the test came back negative but because of some of his features, he was tested. I pray that it is negative but his Mom told me that she saw it in him when they handed him to her after his birth. He is such a precious "gift from Heaven". I appreciate your prayers and I will keep you updated.

Sending positive energy and thoughts.
My baby sisters test came positive and when she was born she had some traits but not all. But she's a normal kid a little slow but that runs in the family  I do hope they don't find that extra chromosome. Either way I'm sure that baby will give your family lots of love. |

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this Paula. I hope the test comes back negative and even if it is positive, Jessica's message is encouraging.

I'm sorry to hear this........it's just another thing to worry about. Two weeks does seem like a long time to wait for the test.
My grandmother's youngest sister had Down's Syndrome and I remember her being such a sweet and gentle person. No matter what you find out this baby will have lots of love and support!!! You'll all be in my prayers. |
