It's not that! I feel bad/guilty complaining about not having a few luxuries when others lost their life, house, income, etc. I do appreciate having you all here to listen and offer your advice. That's pretty obvious with all of us! THANKS

Dear Sandy,
I'm so sorry. I haven't posted yet in this thread. I feel so terrible for you. Any news about the electricity yet? And, you're limping around in a cast on top of it. My prayers are with you, and everyone else who suffered from this terrible storm. Love, Judy

I'm so sure we'll get electricity today that I'm making a grocery shopping list, although it'll be easier just to go through and get one of everything for the refrigerator. My daughter will take me to my foot appointment tomorrow morning and then to get groceries. I'm a hoot in the electric carts!

I think those electric carts were a brilliant idea. It helps people who were shut out of so many activities!
Just don't go zooming around so fast that you knock people down!

I'VE GOT THE POWER - I dialed my house number and the answering machine picked up, so I have electricity. Hubby's picking me up early to go home and enjoy. Now, if I could just figure out how to push a vacuum, sweep and mop on crutches. I'm so excited, I might get on my hands and knees to clean it!
I'll strip all the beds, wash and dry clothes, watch TV in the den, use the house refrigerator, and I'll have HOT WATER. Tonight will be so quiet without the generator and window a/c. I hope my doggies can go back to normal. I'm so blessed!
