Awwww........I think that Ricky has a soft spot for all animals!! Thank goodness it wasn't a horse that wandered up to the house!!!

No kidding!!! He does have a soft spot...especially if they are homeless, but he knows it takes money to care for them. He must have been comparison shopping because when he bought cat food yesterday....he said he bought it at Rural King because he can get a bigger bag cheaper....lol. Hopefully no more will show up.

Looks like she'll be a good mouser too....when Ricky got home from work she was playing with one in the driveway....yay!!!! Maybe fewer mice this winter.

She's gotten a couple more mice so I'm thrilled she's here...lol. I had forgotten how much entertainment that cats can give. She was walking beside me in the driveway until she came upon a pile of leaves and then she just stopped and jumped about 3 feet in the air. I laughed so hard I about "you know what".....LOL. We still haven't given her a permanent name...we just call her Kitty. It's so funny that I can be out there petting her or Rick is petting her, but the minute she sees or hears Ricky...she runs to him. Must be love...

Cats can be nice. We had a house cat once and I just loved her. She had such a sweet personality!! We still talk about her and miss her. After that was when I got Reuger!!

I hope nothing happens to this cat...honestly, I think it would break all our hearts. This is a big change for us....we are not cat people.

Aw!!! Little Kitty is a good mouser! She sounds like a real sweetie! I know what you worry about with an outside cat, but that's her life, and she is loved, which is great! I had a friend whose outside cat didn't come home one day, and we were all sad. He felt that the cat had such good adventures and so much fun running around free, that he would not have had it any other way. I honestly agree with that.
