I just called her and she was tired. She had dialysis today and it came with great news. She has to go one more time to Lafayette for the hemodialysis and then Monday I'll take her over to her kidney center to get a refresher course and then Monday night she will start her home dialysis again. She is thrilled that she won't have to get up early to be in Laf. at 6 in the morning. As her transportation providers...my brothers and I are glad too.
To sum it up...Mom is really doing good. She is such a determined survivor.

That is so great to hear!!! I know that you're relieved that she's doing better!!! Give your wonderful Mom a big smoochy kiss from me!!! I just think that she's soooo cute!!!

I do have to admit ..... she's one amazing 87 year old. Hope I'm as strong as she is when I'm her age...if I make it that far.
