My daughter brought Gucci a yorkie from a puppy store, and now I realize that she probably did come from a puppy mill. Am I sorry no, because I know more now about the treatments of these poor dogs and if I was educated enough on puppy mills, chances are I would not have brought Gucci. Gucci had liver shunt and we suffered much grieve, spent a lot of money along the way .She is healthy as can be now. I think if I didnt buy her she be dead by now. I do advocate not buying from puppy stores now that I am educated about it. It's a shame so many cute dogs are going to be neglected. It wasn't their fault. But I agree.

There's the possibility that Gucci didn't come from a puppy mill. I have a friend that raises labs and she is definitely not a puppy mill, but when she has trouble selling her puppies then she takes them to a pet store. I'm sure that there are others like her so I wouldn't assume that all puppies are from puppy mills just because they're in a pet store.
