They counter offered and so did I. My broker told me their bottom line is
$3000 more than my offer. I told him to stick to my offer until tomorrow. Part of the deal includes most of the furniture, which I don't want. My daughter talked me into keeping it, and getting rid of whatever I don't want. She has a huge house, so I'll probably end up giving most of it to her. I called my broker back to tell them that they can take whatever they want, and not worry about the rest. I'll take care of it. I figured that might push them over a bit to take my offer. Here are some pictures of the view from the entrance to the community.

Wow Judy!
I am so excited for you! I am sure you will get this condo... and have many many happy years enjoying your home. I remember how I felt when buying my home. The first elation in knowing I had found my home, the high emotions when dealing with seller, the contentment I found when I walked into my home for the first time when it was truly mine.. The total satisfaction in knowing that it was mine and I had a clean slate to paint. Get ready! The rollar coaster ride is just beginning!! |

I got it!!! I'm so happy - I bought a house! I just can't believe it. She came down to my price last night, and now I have to start packing, find a mover, etc., etc. The closing is scheduled for July 25th.
I am one happy person today!
