I used to write poetry many many years ago. But not anymore. I used to keep journals many many years ago also. But not anymore.

Well, I do keep one journal now. Just daily stuff on my young horse. Mainly just for training purposes though.

Now, all the poetry and journals are in my mind, rewinding to play over and over again or just adding to it.

I pray that as I become elderly that I just don't lose my mind. It will be such a sad day to lose all my memories of songs, poetry, stories, etc. Those words that play in my mind keep me going most days!

AMEN to that!! I have so many fun memories, songs and poems in my head and heart...that's why I still keep a journal...I hope I never have to read it to remember....just to smile.
