I got my new appliances at Lowes. If you spend over a certain amount..I think it's 300.00 you can get a Lowes card and pay it off in a year with no interest. Good luck!

I swear when it rains it pours doesn't it? First your computer and now your dishwasher......bless your heart! I hope you can find a good deal! I just hate days when things like this happen all at the same time.

There's nothing I hate worse that appliances or electronics that don't work. I'm so sorry!

My dishwasher is not working properly right now either, but at least it washes. It just doesn't fill up with enough water to wash very well, so I just add water myself, then it works fine. I know I need to get a new one, but I just HATE THE HASSLE!

Also our wireless router is not working so we can't get on the internet from the computer in the living room. I bought a new router tonight and my son-in-law will fix it this weekend.

So, I have lots of sympathy for you!!! Hope things get fixed soon!

I'll sell you one Judy! $20

But seriously, I hope you find one soon. I'm only on my second day without a dishwasher and I hate it. Scott should finally have our new one installed tomorrow.

Are the parts anything that you can replace yourself? If so, you can look for your model number on-line and some will even have diagrams to help you pick out what part you're needing. It shouldn't cost too much. I've done this several times on my appliances.

This is a great site!!

It's so easy to fix little things. Since some sites have the parts pictures with them you can tell what it is that you need. I've ordered parts several times, some I've been able to repair and others my husband, the handy man that he is, has to do because they're too complicated for me. We've saved a lot of money by doing this.

It is a great site! That's where the parts added up to $178.00 though. My SIL looked at their diagram and my dishwasher, and we figured out which parts I needed. I also tried another site, and eBay. I am much better off buying a new one.

AND I DID!!! I went online, did some research, went to Home Depot, which has free delivery on this machine. They bring it in, pull out the old one, and place the new dishwasher in the space it belongs. Delivery can cost about $100! And, I don't have to look at the dirty wall and floor where the old dishwasher is! There are probably mice back there too. (Dead, I hope).

It's a Maytag for $299. I hope it's reliable.

Oh good!!! I'm glad that you were able to compare and see that it was better to buy a new one!!! I have a Maytag dishwasher and I really like mine, of course, mine is 10 years old!! It sounds like you got a good buy!!!
