I have just made some fruit scones, they are very nice warmed with butter and jam and if your feeling naughty - clotted cream, yum yum yum.

I have to say though i do like to eat deserts, i am much more a savory person if i had to have i choice it would not be the sweet trolley for me....

ha ha - she said after just eating a clotted cream scone with strawberry jam - ha ha

I LOVE cranberry scones! But I don't eat them with jam, so maybe they are slightly different over here! I just eat them plain.

Hiya

Yes i will ask when i come round to making the dumplings. The scones i make are with sultanas, but i have often made cherry ones and they too are yummy, or for a savory taste you can add cheese as an alternative to the sweet variety.
