Snow
Here's what I got up to Saturday morning. The doggies loved it! Notice that Lucy has snow on her nose and her tongue is sticking out...she is trying to catch the snow lol. They didn't pay any attention at all to the cold.

It sure is pretty snow at your place, but you can still keep it....LOL. We didn't get as much as you...just an inch, but it sure was slick.

Oh Gosh! Those pictures are sooo pretty, especially to someone who doesn't have to drive in it! I do miss snowy days. I gotta go see me some snow one of these days! Now watch, I have just jinxed myself. We are going to Oklahoma after Christmas, just watch it will snow to beat the band the whole time we are up there!

No Betsi it won't. We were shocked! Even though we live in the mountains..it flurries alot but most of the time we don't get much measurable snow here. I wish we did but only because I don't have to drive in it anymore. It does get really cold though. It's been in the low 30's here for the past few days but will get much colder as the winter goes along...down to zero. I'm just guessing but I would say that where Janet lives might be comparable to the temps here in Ky. I think she is in Indiana which is not that far from Ky. The doggies loved it! Except for Halle..she stayed inside.

I would love to come back to KY - I've never been there in winter, only spring/summer.

Thanks Lindsey.....today it's a different story, all melted off..pouring rain and I just saw that we are under a "high wind warning"! That is never good!

Thanks for sharing, sometimes I get homesick and I miss the snow! We don't get much snow here either. Not like in Massachusetts

The view from your house with the snow is just beautiful!!!! Of course, I love the snow.......as long as I don't have to get out in it!!!
We were suppose to have bad conditions here....no snow....but ice. It ended up that it was just a really cold rain. Which was a good thing because Amy and I went to another town to do some Christmas shopping. It was slick starting out but Amy just put it in 4-wheel drive and we went anyway. After the rain started the roads weren't icy at all. We just about bought out Wal-mart!! We were buying gifts for some of the kids at church and Amy had to get for the names that weren't picked up. We had THREE carts going out!!!

Your pictures are beautiful!!!!! We got some snow here Friday. A little bit of it stuck to the ridges of the roofs and tops of cars. A little community between my home and work got quite a bit of snow. I was driving to work in slushy rain and gradually the rain turned to a heavy snow and the rooftops were covered, fences and the ground were covered. A car had spun out into the median and others were on the side of the road with flashers going. The road was getting slick and slushy and a high overpass was looming up ahead. I took the next crossover and headed home. Turns out, that was just a spot. Had I gone over the overpass, it was just slushy rain again a little farther on the other side. Here at home we had flurries off and on during the day, but just made things wet and messy. It was beautiful coming down though. We get snow about every 10 years, though the last one was a foot of snow on Christmas day in 2004, so you never know.
Diana, that's a lot of shopping, Wow, three carts. I haven't bought one present yet. Still in wedding mode here. It's less than 2 weeks away now.
