What about the church you just went to with your kids? Maybe you should try visiting there. You said you liked it and it gave you a good feeling, so that may be a good place to start.

I just took the plunge and called Ev, who leads our writing group. I told her that I couldn't make it because I don't have my car, and she is going to pick me up!! Then, she needs a supermarket run, so I am going too. Hurray....I am going outside! And....I like Ev, so maybe something will come of this. I did call her once before and we met at a local theater where they were putting on a play.

Hugs, Judy!! By now you've gotten your car and things are better, I hope. There's nothing more fustrating than not being able to go anywhere when you really need to. Trust me......I know......my Tahoe's in the garage but it's not starting but we usually have a vehicle around that I can still drive.

Sorry about the depression......at least you recognize that you have it and are aware of what you need to do for it. You know that we're always here to listen to any problems that you're dealing with!!

So.....what kind of car did you get? I bet you picked out some cute little sports car!!!

I wish! I have to get a "sensible" car. We have too much snow for a small sports car, so I am looking for a used Subaru Forester with all wheel drive. I think red would be nice though!

I love Subaru Foresters! or the Outback! I have friends who live in Alaska and I think they are the Alaska state car - every other person has one!!! I had a friend in Oregon who had an outback for over 10 years - great car!
