Things are better

I'm feeling so much better! I really needed to get out yesterday! It was so nice. I like Ev and I think she knows I would like to be friends. We couldn't go to lunch because her daughter picked us up, so we all went to Foodtown and then home. What nice people they are! One of ther women in my writing group also wants to meet for lunch when the group is over. I like her a lot!

I am so glad I cut out one of my antidepressants, I feel much more in touch, and have so much more energy. I called the psychologist's office, and I'll see if I like him when I get an appt. It's about 10 minutes from here, which is great.

I'm getting my car tomorrow. It should cost about $300! Not bad for flipping over! Then, I can go search out another car. It shouldn't take too long to find one. Steve found a good place, so I will go there, and to a place near here.

I also called the dentist again, got someone at the front desk, and she is going to give the problem over to the office manager. I know the manager for years, and she is good. I do not want to change dentists, which is what the woman I spoke to today suggested. I'll take it as it comes.

I'm also not so upset with Jessie anymore. I had forgotten that she wanted to come pick me up Saturday and take me to Mackenzie's basketball game. She would have taken me to the supermarket then. I had to wait for a phone call about the car though. How strange that I forgot! I guess I just wanted to feel sorry for myself, and that was that. Good thing she has no idea!

Yay! I'm sooo glad you're getting your car tomorrow Judy!

Maybe when you get your car, you can invite Ev and the other lady to lunch and you can drive
I'm so glad you are getting to get out with people other than Jess and her family. Everyone needs a friend to go places with occasionally or just out to lunch or even a cup of coffee.

Good luck finding a new car. Now you won't have to be in a big hurry! That's great news.

Hope everything works out with your dentist!

Forgetting about Jessie offering to pick you up sounds exactly like something I would forget, probably because I was having a bad week lol. Anyway I'm so glad that things are looking up for ya Judy

I'm so glad you're feeling better! For a while the dosage on the Lexapro I take was too high. Not only did I not feel bad, I couldn't feel good either! I was SO leveled out that I just couldn't FEEL at all. I just hated that!! I like to smile and laugh, not be a zombie, lol!

I'm thrilled your car is just $300. Have fun picking out a new one I'm also impressed that you reached out to make a couple of new friends. They will probably be just what you need

Yay!!! I'm so glad you're feeling better about things. Pretty soon you'll have your car and can go where you want, when you want. It's nice you were able to get out and be with other people. I do can be friends and be able to find more things in common.

I just had a thought.....wouldn't it be awesome if we all lived on the same block?????

Judy, I missed that you flipped your car. That must have been really scary!!! I've had fender benders, but never flipped. Wow!!!

So glad that you are getting out and making new friends!!! I made a new friend (online friend) last night. It's strange how we just click with some people, and others we don't. Hope you find a couple of really nice ladies who you click with who become long time friends!!!!

Glad things are going better with Jessie, too.

Will definitely add you and Jessie to my current prayer list!!!

I did not get the car today, but I'm getting it tomorrow, and my dentist called! He's got to call me back with an appointment. At least now I know how to get in touch with him. He said he's afraid to check his voicemail, he is so busy! I will have to get Helen, the office manager to stalk him for me.

If we all were neighbors, how great that would be!!!

The mechanic called. I have to wait for someone over there to come bring the car here, and I will drive him back. Then I can go get my almost 2 weeks of mail, and pick up some groceries.

It's actually going to cost about $360 with the towing. The other tow truck was $176. So....it cost about $525 all in all. Too much $, but, considering that my car was flipped over, it's not too terrible.

Now, I will begin to look for a good used car, but I want to use up my $525 worth of repairs!!!
