Traditional here, but I knew that already.
Honestly, I do not have a problem with gays as long as they keep it to themselves. I do not believe they should get married just simply because I believe marraige is between a man and a woman. A man and a woman are compatible, can reproduce themselves, and fit like two pieces of a puzzle when they have found their match. Gays have to buy attachments or use other orafices and cannot reproduce with out medical procedures to impregnant themselves or by finding someone to have a baby for them. That is not natural and I will never accept it as natural and that is my view. |

I'm not sure 5 questions is sufficient to truly define who is or is not a traditionalist. I seldom agree with Bill O'Reilly or anyone who is an extremist whether it is to the left or the right. I'm fundamentally an independent who agrees with the Republicans on moral issues, but favors the Democrats when it comes to Big Business and special interests. I'm tired of the decisions with regard to what is or is not good for us being made by Big Business interests who really don't care about us ordinary middle and working class folks.

Mine stated that:
Based on the answers you gave... You have some traditional beliefs, but have not committed to either side. I think it's high time that gays have the same rights that other partners do. I had a friend since jr high who was gay and when he and his partner of over 23 years had any kind of health issue, the other had NO say in what was done or NOT done for them medically. I felt that was absolutely wrong. As for people abusing the system, I realize it happens and this would be just another area for that possibility, but I feel it's no more apt to happen in this situation than with hetrosexuals. If it were my child having an abortion, I absolutely would want to know. If they can't pierce their ears without my permission, they sure shouldn't be able to have an abortion without it! I do feel the US is a great nation. Sure we have problems and imperfections, but at least we have the freedom to say that without being locked up or killed for it! We have so many things that others don't because of where we live that I don't see any other country I'd rather live in. Being born here, I AM biased, but my ancestors came here from Norway just over 100 yrs ago and you can be sure they didn't come because life was so ideal there. I'm of the mind that no country is perfect, but at least we have the chance to change the things we don't like if we truly put forth the effort. So call me an Independant... lol I know I've been called worse. ![]()

I agree with you, Tink. My cousin is gay, and after dating men to make her family happy, she couldn't take it anymore and found a woman that she is in love with. They are getting married next summer. With all the scrutiny that gays face in society, I think it's time that they are seen as people with the same rights and freedoms as everyone else. Not long ago, white men were the only ones considered real people. Women and people of other ethnicities weren't equal. Today most people can see how wrong that was, and hopefully in the future people will change their mindsets on homosexuality too.

I just took the test and well, it says I can't commit to either side...LOL Is that bad? I guess it just goes to show that I try really hard to see both sides of everything. Maybe one day I'll be able to get off the fence and pick one side.
